Transparent anion exchange membrane target achieved

Posted by on January 9, 2021

We are pleased to report that we achieved the performance targets set for the anion exchange membrane in the FotoH2 project plan.

In plain terms, we demonstrated the practical viability of a transparent anion exchange membrane for separating the anodic and cathodic compartments of a solar H2 production cell. This membrane technology is applicable to any tandem-photoelectrode cell.

The details of our transparent anion exchange membrane technology are reported here.
